The One Young World Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded international opportunity for young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. About the Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship

The Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship is designed for young leaders who are tackling critical challenges faced by women and girls. It focuses on strengthening leadership capacity, supporting grassroots initiatives, and amplifying voices that are often underrepresented in global decision-making spaces.

The scholarship is led by Hauwa Ojeifo, a global mental health advocate and One Young World Ambassador, with a mission to improve health, dignity, and opportunity for over 100 million women and girls worldwide by 2030.

Financial Benefits (Fully Funded)

All selected scholars will receive comprehensive financial support to attend the One Young World Summit without any financial burden.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the One Young World Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

 

• Be aged between 18 and 30 years

 

• Be a young leader with proven impact in their community

 

• Hold a leadership role in an organization, initiative, or social project

 

• Be actively creating impact in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East

 

• Demonstrate commitment to advancing the rights of women and girls

 

• Be willing to actively participate in all summit activities
