Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2026-27. This is a fully funded scholarship opportunity offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei to international students from all over the world. ​The scholarship aims to provide applicants with the opportunity to pursue Diploma, Undergraduate Degree, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs at top public universities in Brunei. It is designed to award comprehensive financial support to students, allowing them to focus on their studies in a peaceful and academically excellent environment. ​

Scholarship Benefits & Value

The scholarship offers full financial coverage for the entire duration of the course:

• Full Tuition Waiver: Exemption from tuition fees and other compulsory charges.
• Monthly Allowance: A personal allowance of BND 500.00 per month.
• Accommodation: Free accommodation at the university residential college.
• Airfare: One return economy class air-ticket (start and end of program).
• Allowances: Monthly meal allowance (BND 150) and annual book allowance (BND 600).

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Brunei Government Scholarship, you must:

• Nationality: Be an international student (citizens of Brunei are not eligible).
• Age Limit (Undergraduate/Diploma): Applicants must not exceed the age of 25 on 1st July 2026.
• Age Limit (Master's): Applicants must not exceed the age of 35 on 1st July 2026.
• Language: Proficient in English (GCE 'O' Level, IELTS 6.0, or TOEFL 550).
• Health: Be certified to be of good health.
